It's a late spring, post-rain color explosion out at the farm and everything is green. The algae bloom in the pond, as pretty as it is, is not necessarily a good sign. It's too much of something and too much of even something good can be bad. I can't remember where I got this net but it was someplace odd and out of season and it went in the back of the car where it stayed for months along with the plastic "Folk Guitar" that I pulled out of a trashcan behind a mansion in Rochester. I had just left the George Eastman Museum, getting there just as it opened on my drive to Vermont.
